This blog is dedicated to Industrial Archaeology, or the study of abandoned industrial sites.

The west is full of abandoned mines, ghost towns and former industrial sites.  I take photos and GPS data for each town that I visit.

Why do we do this?  It is fun!  It is also a way to document what has happened in the past, and to pay tribute to this historical sites that will slowly creep back into the sand.
