As part of the Society for Industrial Archeology’s 2007 Fall Tour, we visited the ghost town of Hamilton, Nevada. Hamilton used to be one of the biggest cities in the state, but today, there is almost nothing.
One of the most important buildings in town was the Hotel Hamilton. Unfortunately, someone thought there might be silver directly under the hotel, so most of the building has been knocked down, spare a few brick walls.
