I was traveling across country a few weeks ago and spent the night in a hotel in Bellville, OH. On top of the hill, there was a diner in an old series of train cars. I took some pictures, but we were behind schedule, so I left without eating at the diner or getting a much closer look at the train cars.
The locomotive was number 917, but I didn’t see who made it. It was in decent shape- not the typical “paint over rust” you find with many park locomotives. They also ran a rope from the bell to the ground so that kids could ring the bell.
